A PAIR OF ROAD MISHAPS KEPT AUTHORITIES BUSY YESTERDAY (Thursday). AT ABOUT 3:45, 35-YEAR OLD SHANE

TURNER OF OVERLAND PARK WAS TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON I-35 NEAR MILE MARKER 176 WHEN HIS 2007

NISSAN SENTRA LEFT THE ROAD. DAMAGE IS ESTIMATED AT MORE THAN ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS. THEN, JUST

BEFORE 9:00 PM, 73-YEAR-OLD ROBERT GREEN OTTAWA WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON OLD 50 HIGHWAY WHEN

HIS MOTORCYCLE ENDED UP IN THE NORTH DITCH IN A TREE LINE. AUTHORITIES SAY GREEN APPARENTLY

STRUCK THE PAVEMENT IN HIS LANE OF TRAVEL. DAMAGE THERE IS ALSO EST TED AT MORE THAN ONE-

THOUSAND DOLLARS.  HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE OVERLAND PARK REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER FOR

TREATMENT OF HIS INJURIES.
