Sheriff’s office receives theft reports

OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received reports of thefts this week – one of which resulted in an arrest.  A 61-year old Princeton man reported Sunday afternoon that four packs of cigarettes and approximately $13 in miscellaneous change were stolen from his vehicle parked in the 200 block of High Street in Princeton.   Deputies identified a suspect and a 17-year-old Princeton boy was taken into custody.  A 47-year-old Wellsville woman reported Friday a burglary, theft, and criminal damage at her home in the 3500 of Texas Road north of Briles School House. The loss was estimated at $1,180.  A 66-year-old Pomona woman reported Friday that a vandal damaged the tires on her car parked in the 200 block of East Seventh Street in Pomona.  The damage was estimated at $200.
