Osage City man dies of injuries from crash

OSAGE CITY — A 68-year-old Osage City man has died of injuries he received from a one-vehicle crash Friday afternoon west of Osage City.  Richard Williams died Sunday in Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka, as result of his injuries.  Williams was driving a car west on K-31, when the car went across the center line, dropped into the south ditch, hit a culvert, went airborne and rolled at least twice, the Osage County Sheriff’s office reported.  Williams, who was wearing a seatbelt, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated from the wreck.  He was taken by helicopter to Stormont Vail.
